Our client is one of the world’s major energy players. The Company is experiencing aggressive growth activities globally. They have decided to build a strong pool of resources in Asia. As a result there is now a need to hire a number of highly mobile specialists from Asia to be based in Europe or the Americas.
As a key member of the Process Engineering team, you will provide engineering expertise and guidance on process operations and instrumentation controls and ensure assets are utilized and modified. You are responsible for providing advice involving project, non-routine, recurrent and systemic problems and issues. Ensuring that the projects are carried out according to Company’s or JV Partner’s project management processes and reporting guidelines is key for this role. You will also be involved in the development of best practice corporate guidelines, processes and procedures.
Ideally you possess a degree in Process/Chemical Engineering, with a postgraduate qualification. A Chartered Engineer, you have extensive experience of process engineering in an exploration and production facilities/development engineering environment, with experience in onshore and offshore oil & gas production and processing facilities including commissioning and startup of control systems. Experience with DCS, expert control system and HYSYS will be required. Having worked in a LNG facility will be highly advantageous. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are critical. Ability to be mobile is a must. An expatriate package, which will be very attractive and comprehensive will be provided to the successful candidates.
